Let’s first get this out of the way: it is not hard to make $1000 a month online when just getting started. In fact, it is very easy to start to make money online without a website if you are just getting started in the internet marketing niche.
If there has been a method of making money online that has been suggested, I have tried it. So after all of my trials and failures, I have put together these simple steps to help the beginner learn how to make money using the internet.
Simple Keyword Research
First, head over to Google AdWords planner and start searching for a keyword or niche that you want to sell products for. For example, if I was going to market to people in the job search market, I might enter “cover letter writing” and see what type of search results I get.
Find a keyword that has at least 5000 matches and then you can head over to your favorite domain registrar because we are going to buy that domain.
Register a Cheap Domain
Now before you say, “But I thought I could do this without a website” let me tell you that we are NOT going to be building a website, but we do need a domain name in this method of generating money online.
So with our example, I might register “coverletterwritingtips.info.” Get a.info or.co or another inexpensive domain name. We don’t need a.com or.net for this example.
Then, if you have no technical experience, have the domain name company (like GoDaddy for example) help you with “Domain Forwarding.” You will want to forward the domain name to an affiliate link we will get in the next step.
Find an Affiliate Link
Head over to Clickbank, sign up for an account if you don’t have one, and search the ‘marketplace’ for a product that is within the niche you picked out. So for my example I’d pick a product on cover letters. Make sure the gravity is high, because that means the product sells well.
Then create an affiliate link by clicking the ‘promote’ button and take this link and head back to your domain name company and set up ‘domain forwarding.’ What this will do allow customers to type in your domain name and go directly to your affiliate link. When they buy, you make the commission!
Write Articles!
Next, you want to write a few 400 word articles, just like this article you are reading. Incorporate your keyword into the content at 1-2%, or 1-2 times per 100 words. Then set up an account at Ezine Articles where you can submit your articles. Over time, you will get traffic and you can even put your website at the bottom of article in the ‘resource box’ where people will click and head to your site and make you money!
It’s really that simple!
Just keep writing articles with different keywords. The more articles you write, the more money you can make. This is a gradual process, but it is super simple and you will make money online for years to come.
